The original thought to begin a men’s grooming lounge began with the founder and owner of the now successful Barber shop in Tulsa. was first inspired by a friend at Oral Roberts University to attend cosmetology school. With the dream in a vision is hard he followed the advice of a friend and did that very thing. After cosmetology cool he spent over half a decade learning and sharpening his skills from several different Barber shops. Then in the year 2012 between the months of January and March open the doors to Elephant in the Room Men’s Grooming Lounge. With the help of his partner and leadership team guru, Clay Clark, they produced one of the fastest growing and most successful Barber shops in Tulsa. The current location of the original shop is at 16th and Boston in downtown Tulsa. The second location is getting ready to open its doors near 71st and Yale in South Tulsa.
