The dream and the inspiration first came to when he was still in college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was inspired to attain cosmetology school and see if this is something that he could actually do. After cosmetology school he traveled, visited and learn from several other salons before finally deciding it was time to open up his own barber shop in Tulsa. The doors were wide open in mid-February 2012. The reception from the public and media was completely outstanding.
